Who can publish on Jamk Arena?

Jamk Arena is a channel for continuous publishing. The authors are mainly experts from Jamk’s staff (at least one of the authors is from Jamk’s staff) and students together with teachers. The editorial board also accepts high-quality writings from Jamk’s students recommended by teachers.

All publications published on Jamk Arena are evaluated by the Editorial Board, and the Editorial Board makes the final decision on publishing the articles.

Principles of publishing

Publications must be new, generate new information, and must not have been previously published elsewhere.

Jamk’s publishing activities comply with the Finnish Code of Conduct for Research Integrity (PDF). The author ensures that the references to previous research results are marked in accordance with the guideline and that the key reference literature is mentioned accordingly in the list of references. All those who have had a significant contribution to the writing process are marked as authors (see Agreeing on authorship for research publications, PDF).

As part of the Finnish research community, we follow the principles of open science, according to which the content of Jamk Arena is freely available to anyone. Read more about open science and research at Jamk University of Applied Sciences.
