I'm working as a principal lecturer in nursing at Jamk University of Applied Sciences. I'm PhD, RN. Since 2020, I have held an associate professorship (docenture) in nursing science at the University of Eastern Finland. I have wide experience of designing and implementing effective competency-based curricula at bachelor’s and master’s levels for nursing programs and extensive competence in designing pedagogically sound and successfully implemented online courses and training aimed for healthcare providers, adult students, and higher education staff. My qualifications include also long experience and in-depth knowledge of teaching international students in person and online in post-degree education.

Network work helps to improve the quality of education and to identify areas for development. The Nordic-Baltic network of the English-language Advanced Practice Nursing education has good experiences of how Jamk’s master’s program can be developed even better to meet the needs of education, working life and health care stakeholders.
