I work as a Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Health within Jamk’s School of Health and Social Studies. I teach in both Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes and supervise theses at both levels. At heart, I am a registered nurse with a keen interest in the future of nursing and the competencies nurses will need in the rapidly changing social and healthcare sector. I am especially interested in customer-centered approaches and the opportunities that service design offers in this context. Themes related to aging and physical activity are professionally important to me. I am particularly interested in how these factors influence functional capacity, inclusion, and overall wellbeing. I am committed to deepening my understanding of these topics as part of developing nursing practice and engaging in broader societal dialogue.
